Y'all know me too well. It warms my heart.

To be fair it is refreshing to see new and enthusiastic fans, they are obviously not as jaded and cynical as some of us are. You can be aware of how bad Jon sounds but still want to enjoy the performances without the baggage of years and years of disappointment.
But then some of them ruin the mood when they shout from the rooftops about how great a recent performance was and "omg his voice is back!!1!!!!"

Glad I only decided to buy tickets for 1 show. Same old shit setlist. And I'm sorry, but I LOATHE Everett or whatever the hell is name is. He fits into a rock band like Andre The Giant fits into a size small shirt.

Haha. True that!

Im glad casuals are having a good time but ive followed the band for over 30 years so I guess Im a diehard if thats the correct name for it. But this to me is awful. Tribute bands do Bon Jovi better than Bon Jovi can.
Breaks my heart (and ears!) to see but bar the odd good performance they sound awful and I have no interest in seeing this version live.

I loved hearing When We Were Us. I've gotten married and had a kid since my last show so it's cool that as as big things happen in my life, I still have this band to celebrate with.

I went in with no expectations, and yes, the setlist was really nothing special, but it meant something to me.

I'll be going to the Orlando show in four weeks and I'm hoping for some changes but if not, that's OK. I'm happy that I can still sing these songs that have meant so much to my family and I over the last 30 some years.

These setlists have been generally the same for the best part of a decade and essentially nothing has changed from the last tour bar adding 1 new song. Combined with skipping Europe I don't think I've been less interested in a bon Jovi tour. Even a casual who went to see them on the lh tour would still see essentially the same structured show. A new era but no freshening up of things.

Dave, that's exactly how I feel. For me, it goes beyond what I want from the band/Jon as far as vocals, set list, etc. I have friends that continue to tour with the band their loyal, I'm loyal. So, that's why I'm not going to focus on what's bad but rather that they are still out there doing it. Doesn't mean I don't respect the opinions of those that see it differently.

I guess the best we can hope for on this tour is ILTT not being played in every show and These Days making an appearance at Prudential and/or MSG... judging by the condition that Jon's voice was in last night, there won't be (m)any other huge surprises.

Happy I only paid 20 dollar for the Chicago ticket. I’m sure I’ll enjoy it but it doesn’t justify spending more on this.
