I loved hearing When We Were Us. I've gotten married and had a kid since my last show so it's cool that as as big things happen in my life, I still have this band to celebrate with.
I went in with no expectations, and yes, the setlist was really nothing special, but it meant something to me.
I'll be going to the Orlando show in four weeks and I'm hoping for some changes but if not, that's OK. I'm happy that I can still sing these songs that have meant so much to my family and I over the last 30 some years.

There is nothing wrong with enjoying these shows... Sure comparing the past to now is like comparing night and day but these shows aren't as bad as most people here act like they are either... Jon does some songs better than others. People just fixate on the few bad ones...
The same people complaining about Jon's voice day after day are the same ones who still continue to post here day after day... There is an irony there..as well as the cycle...First show starts with, "Shitty Vocals, Shitty Set, and Jon doesn't move". By the last show, "it's 2010 again, and with a little of this and that it could be 1995" etc.
I'm with you (no pun)... The fact that I can still see this band in an arena, 35 years later is pretty impressive.
I saw GnR in 1992! Axl's voice was shot and it's still one of the best shows I've ever attended, so whatever...There is more to a Bon Jovi show than just Jon's voice (however judging by this board you would never know that)...
To this day, I've never left a show disappointed. Sure, I've had negative opinions from set-lists to where my seats where but I never let in ruin my good time (I'm sure the alcohol helps too)... From the crowd energy you get from the opening song to everyone singing Living On A Prayer at the end, it's all still worth it.
The band sounds fantastic, I love arena acoustics, I am hearing songs from my favorite band, and the hits are still the hits... Jon's voice is done! I accept it. He's almost 60 years old, he had a fantastic run, and it's damage beyond repair (surgery is not an option people). He's working twice as hard as ever to give us half of what he once had. I respect that. And like I've said a million times, there are so many other distractions being there in person, it helps mask a lot of the pain.
I don't get the best seats and I don't get the worst seats. I go to a few shows within my budget, it's not going to break my bank account, I get a group together, we usually do dinner & drinks before, we go to the show, we don't get all caught up in Jon's notes, and then we leave. Great Times...
