What I meant is exactly what you said. "Hotel California" shows it perfectly well, I think. It's good, it's passionate, but it's different in a way I can't really and fully enjoy. It sounds like the soul is gone and what's left is a dry and metal sound. I don't and didn't mean to belittle Phil X in any way, but he's just not my thing and I don't think he's Bon Jovi's either.
