Maybe in the UK, but pretty sure not in Germany or Austria or elsewhere. Here the competition winners were mixed in all four groups. The crew and radio stations gave out wristband to selected people in the crowd in some venues but not for a specific group. It was mixed up and men in every group.

I totally agree with you all that Hull sucked. I still can't believe it. damn, I hate that I even went. cost me a fortune and it ruined all my good memories of the tour. will take me a long time to get over that one.

about being on stage in group 4: I was one of the girls that got on stage in group 4 in Innsbruck. and I have pictures of that. and clearly, in one of those pictures is a guy. so I don't get that it's 'always' like this. sorry for you kev. really don't get why they told you that.

In a nut shell from the reviews posted, Jon was too stationary, didn't introduce the band at the end of the show (some say stormed off the stage at the end), most thought Jon seeme pissed off throughout the gig. Overall, a very lackluster performance from Jon and the show was short for them at 2 hours and 5 minutes. There is a few clips on youtube.com of this show. Jon himself said on a Virgin interview that Hull, "probably wasn't his best performance" but he didn't offer any reasons as too why. Here is the set list:

Not in the UK - that's how it always is. Kev, it seems you need to try Group 3 in the UK or Group 4 in Europe. Sucks, but that's how it is ...
