Default cant believe it

After reading these posts im gutted foe the people who went to hull.I did a thread saying and rightly so that this was the best uk tour from bon jovi and all the threads from the shows i attended at glasgow manchester coventry and milton keynes agreed shortest show 2 hours 30.anchester was the best gig ever 2 hours 45 it rocked i cant believe the band after 6 great shows were so bad at hull and cut it short.
Jon wasnt sick at coventry he just had hay fever but he stll sang amazing and it was a fantastic gig dunno why he was so pissed off last night, glad i didnt go the setist looked short on all the other amazing uk gigs eg at manchester we even got dry county.Just gutted for the people of hull that it was bad and the band have no excuse as the others shows were great packed stadiums with amazing energy and great setlists.

Thumbs down One more ****ing time

i felt sick about last night anyway but that photo says it all. that really makes me wanna puke.

i just feel really sad that the last words i shouted at jon on this tour were
" stick it up your arse jon"

last wednesday night in coventry it was more like thankyou becuase he wasnt well at all and yet he gave us everything he had and it was a great show.

it seems impossible to tell exactly what was wrong last night. there were sound issues and richies guitar had a problem but seeing jon smashing on ticos drum screen was like watching a kid having consumed too many e numbers.

my 19th bon jovi show 13 years of watching what i consider the best band in the world. last night was the most disrespectful piece of shit i have ever seen. i didnt expect it to be the best show ever but i certainly wasnt ready for Mr Jon bon Gallagher.

so they didnt wanna play hull most of us didnt want them to play hull. but you know what we paid our money for a bon jovi show not to watch a 44 year old man throw a ****ing hissy fit.

not the sound techs, not the band, not the fans who stood around for hours in the rain. Jon ruined last night and its left a bad taste in my mouth thats gonna take a while to go away.

by the time they got to wanted i just wanted it to be over. he couldnt be ****ing bothered. hardly anyone in the crowd clapped at the start of wanted and i couldnt be ****ed to sing it. i said to my friend if he cant be bothered then nor can i.

and dont misunderstand me we were ready for the band at showtime yeah we`d had a shitty day in the rain but it was jon that lost the crowd and he never tried to get us back not once.

if you look at the set list it aint great but even so if he had made an effort i would nt complain.

bad medicine "one more ****ing time" was the final straw for me really. i dont have a clue what was going on. id guess that he and richie had argued about something but maybe we will never know?

i will never forget last night he acted like a total dick and to walk off with no bow? so thanks Jon for wrecking the last night of this tour . i hope someone tells you to your face that it was pathetic.

yes there was "something in the air" last night but it damn sure wasnt magic

Thumbs down

Im gutted that the band I grew up with and love have finally turned their back on their fans the way they did last night.

It took me 6 hours to drive up there plus £65 for my ticket and £50 for my hotel.

If he cant be bothered any more I dont think I can be..

The problem is no Bon Jovi crowd would ever boo them...the majority of fans applaud Jon for anything he does... So i wasnt there but i would bet a whole load of money that he walked off the stage with 20 odd thousand people aplauding him....so i doubt he'd think twice about it he's just think job done lets go home unless he read any of the board reviews i guess....

but if the crowd actually got so pissed they started booing...thatd be interestin!

and then he'd probs have to do something about....

I agree. After reading all the reviews of this show, sounds to me like booing is what they deserved. But you're right, after 20 some-odd years, the fans will applaud no matter what. Not to mention the first-timers who thought the show was bar-none. I just think it's a shame they ended the European leg with such a horrible performance....

This is word for word how I felt during the show and how I feel now. It was indeed pathetic - a total piss poor performance.

Angry

We're both glad it wasn't just us.

Very very dissapointed, we've seen Bon Jovi lots of times - first time being in the Apollo Manchester in around 1985/6, when Jon came onstage flying on a wire.

We have seen some not so good Bon Jovi gigs and some excellent. The worst so far was probably Stoke on Trent, when they were supported by the band that sings "Dancin' In the Moonlight". At least, it was the worst until last night...

The best gig of any band (including the likes of Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Lynrd Skynrd etc.) we have seenwas Bon Jovi, Milton Keynes 1996.

Last night was an insult. The worst thing for me was that he managed to spend time begging us to download their song at £1.50 a time (twice what it costs on Itunes) but not to introduce the band.

Cynical. Not a "class act", but a "crass act".

Shame on Mr Bon Jovi.

Incidentally, Jon was stopped from going along the walkway stage right (the side we were right next to) by a security man. They were taking an injured/fainted fan out at the time he tried to go across. He didn't try again though.

Very poor.
