Default Pleased With Set List!

So far this tour, theyve been playing MINIMUM five songs from HAND and at least two from the box set.

That makes close to seven NEW song at minimum - one night, they played SEVEN songs off the new album. Toss in the standards and it is quite diff. set list, I have to say! No useles Shout, no LONG Sleep When I'm Dad. I think they are really trying.

I am seeing them tomorrow n Beantown and am psyched about this set list!

Sod the songs off the box set - play the tracks that made it to the earlier albums instead. Why play tracks that not even that many Jovi fans had heard before the summer instead of classics that they haven't played for a decade?

They have gone from one extreme to the other IMO. They used to play all the same big hit tracks at gig after gig after gig to please the 'general' music fans that attend the concerts to see IML or LOAP. Now, they are playing tracks that even hard-core fans weren't aware existed several months ago.

Get rid of 'Radio Saved My Life Tonight' and 'Why Aren't You Dead' and play 'Homebound Train', 'I'd Die For You', 'Wild Is The Wind or 'Dry County' to name but a few of the unjustifiably left out tracks that haven't seen the light of day since the early to mid 90s!!!

jeez, you just cant please some people. We all complain about them not playing lesser known songs and playing to the 'casual audience' then when they do play lesser known songs we get people like you who complain about that too!

Theyv been playing a few Boxset songs, and why arent you dead isnt one of them.

Plus there has been rotation on what songs of HAND have been playing, Welcome, Novacain, Bells of freedom have popped up now and again. Undivided and everyday aswell.

so quit you moaning.

Moaning about bad Mx/shout/Sleep however is perfectly understandable

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

7 new songs in a gig is way too many. 5 would be ideal for me. Throw in classics and some rare gems.

I don't know what setlists YOU'VE been reading, but they haven't done Why aren't you dead since the 2nd Borgata show.

My point was obviously missed. Get rid of the boxset tracks and put in tracks that actually were great enough to make it to the actual studio albums instead. If you're gonna nit-pick, then you're missing my point.

And I agree, 7 new tracks is way too many off of a new album. Yes, it is better than 'Crush' or 'Bounce' but cut a couple and put some older 'well-loved' stuff in.

I knew people would jump at the first sign of dissatisfaction but the fact still remains - they are still playing crappy covers when they've released enough of their own great material to fill a whole day let alone an evening, they are playing songs off of the boxset when they've released enough of their own great material to fill a gig and they are including too many new tracks - a third of a show for new tracks?!?!

I don't care how much you moan about my moaning but the above hardly allows for an even spread of music from their catalogue which is what we have all been griping about since forever! They haven't solved the problem, they've simply gone to a different extreme, which I might add, was the whole point of my first post (just in case you missed it)!

No no, your point was clear. VERY clear. I just simply disagree. I didn't mean to nitpick about the Why aren't you dead thing. I just thought "If he lets an error like that slip in, just how much has he been paying attention to the setlists". In the end, if you're not going to the show, why does it matter?
