In my (humble) opinion they are doing something that is very positive: they are actually changing set-lists almost everynight. Even if it's just 1 song, they've been putting in and out some new - bells, last cigarette,... - and old tracks - undivided, lay your hands, ...

I think they may have some surprises for us, maybe some old songs, who knows.

I wouldn't be surprised if wild in the streets, in these arms, these days, lay your hands(original), were played along the way.

But i understand what RS8MB0R8 is saying, and i, too, would love them to play those gemns that were left on the way.... I think, with 17 shows, they have proved to be working on a diverse set list. So I still believe that by the time they come to europe, they'll have a good set of songs, both new and old, that we are willing to listen to. But the most important thing, in my opinion, is to vary the set lists, and keep them fresh both for the audience and for the band.

I hope they put on something special to comemorate the 20 years of the SWW release, like what they did in 96 with die for you acoustic.... That was just a thought.....

Well, I may be wrong here, but The HAVE A NICE DAY tour, should include mostly songs from the HAVE A NICE DAY album shouldn't it?

I mean that's the point of this tour, to tour the new album, it's always been like that.

no LOAP:

THere was a time where LOAP wasnt played... I am pretty sure its been played every time THIS tour. However, SUmmerfest 2001 in Milwaukee for the OWN tour,... did not play Prayer.

But I digress, I am equally as excentric about U2. If I went to a U2 Show and didnt hear Streets Have No Name, I would actually be dissapointed... same with LOAP for Jovi.

As for the rest of the set list, (we all have those songs that we would personally want to hear) I think it is very important to have material from a current album being supported. I mean, I chose Jovi and U2 as my fav bands when I was about 10. Now im 30... I take pride in the fact that the bands I have always loved, are not a Greatest Hits touring machine.

Is TLFR my personal favorite Jovi record? No. But I am glad we get to hear revamped acoustic songs from it on the current tour. I would like more box set stuff, and Im glad we get to hear HAND songs as well.

I for one am glad and content with the fact that our favorite band doesnt just tour for the sake of touring.... supporting albums is the key.

Yeah I must say the setlists are looking damn good and the longer the tour goes I'm sure a few more songs will be added now and again. Love the acoustic songs their doing and its great that they are playing stuff of the boxset too and rightly so they should be doing at least 4 or 5 songs off HAND.
