He just spent a grand on you to get you on stage and you're calling him mean cos you have to go to school on a Jovi gig? **** you're spoilt.

You have no reason to be sorry, the tongue-in-cheek nature of your post was obvious to see....to all but Oli who has let his directorial success go to head

This tour has been a real treat IMO. I never expected to have some rare tracks which we have seen this tour. Tough to top this one I think.

When will they be back? 2010 I think but as to what type of tour, could be greatest hits tour I guess, would that mean just the hits? Hopefully not. I am hopefull that we get a rock album as the next studio release.

It's been more than 5 months.

And they're probably never coming back to Perth...

I know what you mean. I became a fan in about 1994 when I was 10, went to my first show in 1995 when I was 11, so for me the experience of seeing them live always belonged somewhat to my love of the music. But after waiting for years for a new tour it's so cool to actually get this step closer to the band... again.

There's also a different side to that. You know, for the most part I listen to BJ alone. In my headphones, wherever I may take them, blasting out my stereo or driving in my car. But for the most part, it's a private thing. Feels like they're MY band somehow, like personal connections to songs and specific feelings. This "soundtrack of my life"-kinda thing...

And then, when you go to a show, and there are hundreds and thousands of people walking with you towards the stadium, it's a pretty cool hype, like "they dig what I love". Knowing "I've been around for so long" is pretty cool too - it gets only beat by seeing a person who wears a worn out KTF-tour shirt, which was before I was around.

And then standing there, singing along with thousands of fans, for a moment I would get lost, like "they're taking the privacy of this music away from me". You realize you're not the only one who's into the music, knows all the lyrics and goes crazy when they play a specific song.
Just like writing in this forum with you people... But you're more like imaginitive friends, more surreal (I don't know any of you in person and missed the chance of meeting Seb in Frankfurt) and less pyhsical then the ellbow that hits you in the face while bouncing around at a show...

But at least at a concert I get to share the music withreal fans... wasn't blessed to go to a show with a "real" fan until yet... only casuals.
