Default Pre-Sale for San Jose Show...almost sold out?

I've had tickets for previous bon jovi concerts all over the place, side stage, upper deck, lower deck, on stage vip...so at this point I really don't feel like forking out a ridiculous amount of money. I've been looking at the cheapest 38+ convenience charge on ticketmaster pre-sale and it seems that all the descent upper deck seats are sold out. I keep getting behind the stage row 20...the 66 dollar tickets are in the same location just on the first deck. Are tickets really selling this fast? or is ticketmaster just holding tickets for the general sale? I don't remember it being like this for previous tours.

I dunno, but it seemed to be the same story for the Sacramento show. There were no tickets in the lowest range anywhere except behind the stage (and while I'm not picky, I prefer to be facing the band in some way shape or form). I eventually got seats on the upper deck across the arena, but nothing ever came up for any of the side-sections at all. Must have refreshed about 30-40 times and only got offered the same three locations. >.<

I'm hoping that during regular sale that some normal seats will start coming up. Unless the stage is literally a circle where the band is facing everyone, getting behind stage seats for 50 dollars at the cheapest seems like a complete rip off. I have come to the conclusion, at this point it's more of a "duh", that pre-sale is total bullshit. They hold the better tickets for general sale and usually sell them at a cheaper price as well.

Only small batches of tickets are set aside for all of those pre-sales. I always check them to see what they have to offer, but most of the time I'm underwhelmed with what is offered and end up waiting. (The internet presale for the first 2 shows at the Meadowlands was an exception.)

I see. I get the feeling that I won't be able to get anything better than behind the stage which leads me to ask...are they worth the price? I have never had seats in that location. I would assume that if they were considerably worse then they would be cheaper than regular upper deck or lower deck seats however they cost the same...

I was in the second row of the upper deck for Bruce once. I actually really enjoyed it. I'd take that over a ticket on the far side of the arena any day.
