Default Presale tickets suck

I can't believe that the best that could be got online for the Toronto presale was the 26th row floor.

If anyone managed to do better than this please let me know, because that's pretty shitty.

I'm just gonna wait for the general onsale on Saturday.

Good luck to everyone,

Mikey D

Presales are a scam. The seats aren't as good as the regular onsale. Only reason I take advantage of it is because regular onsales suck on ticketmaster.com.

I'm convinced ticket scalpers have some inside connections. Look at all the great seats that are already listed on Ebay. Bullshit.

eBay scalpers make me laugh - they are already saying that the Toronto show is a 'Sold Out Show' and the general Onsale hasn't even happened yet.

My god some people are idiots.

Ciao peoplez,

I found one seat on the floor, and I know a few other people managed to find some tickets on the floor. But considering I was supposed to buy 4 tickets, the best I could find was section 106, row 26. That's such bullshit. I've had better tickets when I physically went to Ticketmaster. I think they really screwed themselves by using the same password for all the presales. I know both Chum and q107 were running presale, but it turned out to be the same presale.

I hope Saturday's results are better.

I usually always get GREAT seats via pre-sales. I've had the chance for first row at REM and always get second row sideline up front. Hardly ever look for floor tickets as they are usually general admission.

oh absolutely! Again, I wish more bands would care about their fans like Pearl Jam does! While not foolproof, PJ really do make changes to their system all the time to tighten the system and making sure true fans get the best seats at regular ticket price.

I just noticed that too! Did you see the person selling 2-300 level tickets for $300?! If someone actually pays that, they should be smacked.

I didn't do too badly with the Montreal presale. Threw back tickets until some good ones came up (Reds, Section 102, Row O).

I've also got lucky with a Sarah McLachlan presale. That one, scored floor tickets - 4th row, center stage!

A lot of it is luck and in Montreal, Bon Jovi usually sells out quick. So I'm pretty happy with the seats I got.

Price was a whopper though. $125 Cdn per ticket???? YIKES!!!!

Last time around with BJ, I think we paid $72 max for similar tickets.

Yeah, that's what some have for Boston as well.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but why is it, a cop will arrest Joe Schmo selling tickets outside the arena the night of the show for $10 more than he paid for them, but it's legal for some guy on Ebay to sell them for $300 more than he paid for them?

Won't ever happen. Pearl Jam went through lots of hassle to get that for their fans (if I remember correctly.) Bands like Bon Jovi (much as I love them) have all therse corporate sponsors to help pay for the lighting, stages, trucks, workcrews, etc. In return, those sponsors are all buddy buddy with the record company who in turn is buddy buddy with Ticketmaster. As Jon has said, it's all a machine.
