I would love one new recording of anything with the original band.

The sound system in the PRU sucked. Dunno what the problem was there. Jon moved around way more than I expected.

When the first notes to These days started, I went crazy! I videoed the whole song from the 7th row, and I still haven’t watched it since I’ve been driving home all day. During the show I could see and hear that it was a struggle for Jon, but I personally appreciate that he tried. I’d rather hear it with some struggle, than never hear it again.

Jon was all over the crowd out in the audience. He even jumped off of the stage and went to someone in the front row in my section. Did anyone see what was happening there?

I had a great time. That’s all that matters to me.
That's awesome!! Glad you got to the show! And yes, the PRU sound sucks! It has since the arena opened. And I'm with your sentiment on Jon attempting the difficult songs.

I hope that Richie's feelings about Bon Jovi change after attending that show. And I expect the same from Jon. They both had something special together.

It's gotta be such a mental trip to see your old band perform on stage.

This has to be one of the most peaceful and rational breakups I've ever seen... I gotta hand it to Jon for handling it the way he did. Kudos to him!!!

I don't think Richie will ever rejoin Bon Jovi. Richie doesn't want to get back on that machine and I don't think Jon would ever let him rejoin the band even if he wanted to.

However, I don't think this RARHOF performance is the end of the road for them either. I think this is the Ice Breaker they both needed and will re-realize their chemistry. Once both current projects dry up, I could see them doing something together again. I'm not sure what that something is but something... Maybe an EP with a few acoustic spot shows or something light. Hey, stranger things have happened... And I would love nothing more than a new song (a real song) with ALL of them. Just a cool jam session type song for the fans. With all that talent, they could whip something up in Jon's home studio within days.

Giants 2006 was far from perfect, but the middle register notes still sounded fine.

Fair enough - I didn't listen before I posted that. I guess my memory of Giants 2006 was that it was awful. And I think for that time it was which is why it stuck in my memory that way.

Yeah I was thinking about that too... must be weird as hell being on the other side of the barricade at a show you've been part of for 30 years
