It was the best show of the run. I saw eightof ten and LH night was the best show, followed closely by the final show. the other six were very good to excellent, but on these two nights, the band and Jon were flat out fabulous.

I'd rather give my money to a homeless guy on thestreet instead of throwing it away into the arm's of a bandwagon jumpin ex rocker
I would have left the arena after the 3rd LH song in a row believe me!

I saw all 10 shows and nights 3 and 9 were the most incredible shows. Not that the other nights were bad but those nights had that extra something that happens sometimes - when there really is magic in the night.

And for those of you thinking that I'm just drinking the kool aid, I was one of the ones who said that if they played the entire LH album I was going to quit being a fan. I was exaggerating but still - I really didn't want to hear that album. They not only pulled it off - the live versions improved on the album in my opinion. Even Strangers which gets skipped every time by me - and wasn't even loaded on my music player - sounded like a decent song with just Jon doing the singing and Lorenza singing backup.

And then they turned around and played an entire concert after the album tracks. It has been years since I saw Jon that energetic - it was a hell of a show.

you don't need to much energy playing this half assed songs

One question: Did you ever see them in the early 90's til 1996 ??? Those were magical times when they were still hungry

Thank you

Yes - I live here in Jersey and saw them first in 92 at the Meadowlands. I was a fan before that but was pregnant at the Giants 89 show and didn't go. In retrospect I should have but we all have our regrets LOL. It was a while before they played here again after that show so I had to wait until 92. I had little kids and could only go to one show a tour at that time for financial reasons.

I've also been a Bruce fan all my life so if you want to ask me if I really know what a rock show should be all about - the answer is yes - I just saw 7 nights of Bruce since October. And my favorite band of all time is Led Zeppelin so I'm not put off by very hard rock either.

There may be those that think Bon Jovi doesn't deserve to be categorized with Bruce and Zeppelin but I would have to disagree. They write and perform a different kind of music but wouldn't it be boring if all bands sounded the same. I have listened to each of them sometimes more and sometimes less during various periods of my life - and they each satisfy me in a different way.

I thought it was kind of odd that some of the mezzanine was empty, but the upper level was full. A good portion of the seats behind the stage were taken too. I went to night number 8. Considering they did 10 nights there I think it sold pretty well.

Just to throw in my thoughts on the Nov. 9 show.
The band tore the ****ing roof off that night LH or no LH.
They tore through all the new stuff, and they tore through the hits better than any of the other concerts I've seen in person.

As much as I appaud your giving nature to helping those less fortunate than yourself quite frankly, missing that 9th show would have been your loss.

There was something in the air that night. Jon went for broke, vocally, emotionally and physically that night and it was an outstanding show. They pulled off the LH songs brilliantlly, then pretty much gave an entire second concert with all the hits. Songs I've seen and heard done a hundred times were just better that show.
