~Yup those days are long gone. After the money that has been made out of this show, I firmly believe all UK BJ shows will now be all seated. And that includes Wembley.

i wouldn't jump to conclusions so quickly the prices tickets are going for here are reflective of the fact it's a one off "small" gig. if it was wembley chances are there'd still be plenty of tickets left, i know glasgow never sells out until fairly close to the actual gig and wouldn't sell out at all if they doubled ticket prices and made everyone sit down.

Having worked in a few game shops I can assure you it isn't quite like that, the only staff who do that will usually be out of a job because it is done by theft or dishonest conduct that goes against company policy. And if Sony or Microsoft were to go to the effort, it would be both the company and the "seller" who would be hit in the pocket.
Anyway, I blame both - the tout and the buyer. The touts are spoiling it by buying in bulk, because folk like myself only buy through proper ticket vendors, so I may not get to go to a gig I really want to because some arsehole has been buying in number just to make a killing from the people stupid enough to pay over the odds. I would never trust anyone selling over eBay or outside the venue, as there's the chance it's counterfeit or you wont receive your ticket. Having known people who have been hit by this, for gigs, football, etc, it's fair to say I take a dim view of ticket touts.
As for the buyers, frankly they are idiots. If they took the same stance and didn't buy a £35 ticket from some shady guy for £100, there wouldn't be that market. All they are doing is encouraging the tout to do it again, and he wont have any worry paying for the next lot after you have been ripped off. I couldn't care if Elvis came down from heaven with Keith Moon and John Lennon for a one off gig, I wouldn't pay over the odds for it when I know it only cost £X amount, just to fill the wallet of some greedy cock.

Nice idea, but seriously.... Miss a possible once in a lifetime chance to see a gig, or make a stand & don't go where someone else will get your ticket & the tout will still make the same money? As much as I hate to admit it - there is demand for it. However it would be a lot fairer if the touts were given a level playing field & had as much chance as Joe average to get the tickets, instead of having them released to them early.

But it was the only chance for me to get a ticket at that agency that sells the tickets for a lot more money...at least its "cheaper" than the ebay tickets, but when the sale on the internet began, 30 minutes later they said its sold out...so i was afraid that i didn´t get a ticket

Well, well, well, £2050 eh?!
Now that is just crazy!!
Let me think how many tickets (GC of course) could you get for that for the next tour........(gets calculator) Call it 65 ish per ticket for postage and all that shite, you could get 31 GC tickets for that, thats 31 gigs, now that seriously puts it in perspective, as i said i love this band, but for the choice of 1 gig or potentially 31 gigs, which way would you go? i know which way i'd go

I think that's it in a nutshell - the lack of fair access. If we all had the same chance we wouldn't get quite so pissed off.

I certainly have paid more than face value for a ticket - and not just to Bon Jovi either. Sometimes there are "must be at" shows that you just don't want to miss. My general rule is not to pay more than double the face value.

i agree. no one forces you to buy the tickets and if you have the money and want to spend it like that, then why not..? after all, it's ebay we' re talking about - no rules there

...Even if ticketmaster were to find some way of preventing the tickets going to the touts (having to type in the letters in a cage is to stop computer buying right??)..I still believe even jo public (with no interest in the band) will still buy them to sell on and make a fast buck. But it would mean that more tickets will have gone to true fans and decreased demand and hopefully bring the price down on ebay..

Good location seats will always go for huge amounts.... and I hope it's not going to be seated from now on..it just ain't rock'n'roll!
