Not all the time anymore. Jon used to do it but doesn't anymore, from what I've gathered.

I hoped for Amsterdam on DVD. That show rocked together with Mannheim.. But I have to say Bon Jovi doesn't got any vision anymore..

Just out of curiosity; How many cameras are needed for a commercially released product? I recently got a load of cool close-up photos of the Hyde Park gig and there were 3 cameras stationed at the front of the stage below the guys (one on the left, one on the right, and a mobile one that panned across stage to follow Jon) and at least 2 actually on stage running around getting cool shots of Tico and Dave. Don't know if there were any on the cranes or the towers but surely they can't need many more than that to produce a good quality concert for DVD?!?

If you watch the Zurich or London DVDs you'll see that there is a camera on a short track along the front of the stage which provides a lot of extra footage. They also have a lot more long shots, and another crane camera on Hugh's side of the stage as well as some portable camera's on roadies shoulders (I think).

Zurich/ London DVD's- around 15 to 20 Cameras.

I reckon there were about 7 used for the Big Screens.

Best to think not, then if it does, we will all be pleasantly suprised!
Wishfull thinking unfortunately. The Hyde Park show wasn't professionally recorded for a DVD release so it's won't happen
Hummm, funny how nobody believed me at the time.

but it wasnt recorded on the scale of the yokohama show, the cameras at HP were the same for every single show around the tour, if they were planning on releasing a full shot dvd they legally HAVE to have public notices up. nige is right but i guess you are too donna basically they can release every show they have done on the bounce tour but it will be fairly poor, no special camera angle or too many crowd shots, its not possible without notifying the public.

still glad, ya know, i noctied the camera more at HP than any other show but then it was a bigger show so i dindt think too much of it well done donna i guess
