Default question about video screen/seats behind the stage

Well I don't want to say it out loud and jinx it but I am 99.9% sure that I will not miss this tour after all, (and i really thought there was no way i was going to go to a show at all so i am beyond estatic), It looks like i may end up going to the Washington DC show but have a question about seats.

I am obviously going to be going all out for this show, and being the concert snob I am lol and since im only doing one show will be buying the best ticket i can find from a broker. But the two people i am going with do not want to spend a lot of $ on a ticket. I see there are seats in the sections behind the stage but i do not want them to sit there if they will not have a good view. Does anyone know if the video screens are double sided so people behind the stage can actually see the band's faces and not just their backs? What is the view like if you sit behind the stage? Also is anyone on here going to this show?

Thanks so much!

The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

As far as I know the screens are double sided. It would be pretty shitty if all the fans behind the stage saw were the bands asses all night, then again maybe that's where all the backstage fans would enjoy the show best. (kidding kidding )

But yeah, you best make sure but I think you're pretty safe, plus I think your friends will get to see the all the lighting and laser effects pretty well from those seats.

This is a view from behind the stage at MSG at the end of the LH Tour. I know that the stage is different, but from everything I've seen, it works in a similar manner.

I've sat behind the stage before and I will again in a month. For $30 the seats are great

The only problem I ever had sitting behind the stage was recording. The entire audience sings straight into your mics LOL.

However the concert itself and the proximity to the stage can't be beat. I was behind the stage at one of the Prudential shows and it was great - except for the recording aspect.

I sat behind the stage on the LH tour and it was fine. There were obviously times when view was obstructed (Bad Medicine, IML). It was still a great way to see the show. On this tour, it seems it will be more obstructed than usual (but I can't say this for sure, I wasn't behind tonight). Now, I've watched videos on Youtube and there's a long screen that stretches behind the stage that does not move. At the Denver show tonight, this screen seemed very low, a lot lower than in most of the pictures/videos I've seen from this tour. I don't know if it's because of the way Pepsi Center is set up or if it's always like that. The stage setup looks way different in person than on a computer.

The 5 robotic screens that move (which aren't in use at all until WGIGO) seem to be what would be the most annoying. Especially during songs like Keep the Faith, Wanted, and Prayer, they are raised up fully and would probably block your view if you are on the lower level. These screens obviously only have one side. The 12 long screens that piece together in different ways are double sided. There are also 2 projection screens (don't move) on the outer ends of the stage. However, there didn't seem to be one facing the back behind the stage as there was on LH.

Default Video Screens behind the stage!

At the Anaheim show the 5 robotic screens actually worked in our favor. There were times during the show when they were pointed directly at us (toward the back) and we could still see the band over them. Jon also climbs them as stairs at one point, which brought him close to where we sat. As previously mentioned, for the price they were great!
