talking about maine road or old trafford now?

maine road of course is right in the middle of a network of streets and houses, old trafford of course is at least near the docks, main road, car park, small businesses etc

you've got your geography wrong

you mean manchester

liverpool in early stages was important as a port to feed Manchester, but bridgewater canal solved that and made it an inland port

sheffield was much less important
yeah.... okay the canals were important in transportation, but in terms of revolution its all come from yorkshire producing things to be transported mainly... not just sheffield... but in terms of things that britain is reputed for, like steel, its al sheffield, but you can have the canals for a point- ours sucks!

no i don't know him, i'm at uni in durham but i grew up in preston.

number 2.... andrew was at durham uni.... until this year, when he went back to preston, where he grew up- u sure you're not him :S

and i have to say i cant see it ending at 10.30 to be honest......
