Cool RAVE! Bandiera

Let me just say all this negative response to Bobby Bandiera is unfounded.
The guy is a virtuoso. having followed the Jukes for years as well as Bobby's stints with Jon's solo work (yes, he DID play a bit on Blaze and the majority of Destination as well as the solo tours)

I have to say he is great. As far as his onstage presence goes he DOES have that - unfortunately he is at the BON JOVI show - not the BANDIERA show. His role is to play the tunes not be a showman.

'nuff said...

I would not call him a virtuoso, or anywhere near that.
He's a good Rythm guitar player and slide player, but you also gotta remember that we are used to hearing and seeing the Man that is Richie Sambora, of course Bobby would look pale in comparison. Just my 2 cents .

Talking

I haven't seen any of this negative stuff your referring to!
Everybody knows that he's there to do a job and not be flash - that's down to Richie!

hmm is this post in response to people saying if richie is having an off night bobby is first in line to replace him? first of all... that is never gonna happen. i haven't seen anyone "bashing" Bobby.. I have said in a different post he is boring, which he is. People say his job isn't to be flashy fine but he barely moves AT ALL on stage. He kind of is like a zombie up there. Talk about going through the motions.... If his job is to blend in he certainly does blend in .. I don't notice him... I don't hear much difference in the songs either.. he's just kind up of there and it's like who cares... I don't care if he is flashy or not... i just don't see what he brings to the band. If jon felt that adding jeff and bobby was going to create a bigger sound.. sorry i don't hear it.

I don't dislike the guy... but he isn't a member of the band, neither is jeff and i don't see the point of them being there. I guess they are solid musicians but a virtuoso on the guitar.. no.... that would be the other guy on the LEFT side of the stage.. Richie Sambora not BB.

But it is true like someone said.. jon seems to use him alot... seems to think the world of him.. but after all he is in the band that jon grew up idolizing... that might be why jon likes Bobby so much..

Just wondering anyone have any idea how old Bobby is and are he and Jeff original Asbury Jukes? Bobby doesn't really look that old.. i googled him before but couldn't find his birthday....

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Bobby is born in Oct. 1954. He replaced the former guitarist of the Jukes in 1985. The same year rumours came up that he would be the next guitar player of the E-Street Band. That never happens as we all knew.
But he is a great guitar player. He played some great solos with the Asbury Jukes. And I never thought he was boring when he played with the Jukes. Probably it's his new role?

I can't really see the point in having those additional musicians. I can't say that Bon jovi sounds any better with them on stage. I say get rid of them, despite their talent.

With all due respect, how many shows have you actually seen with the line up?
