As a matter of fact, none. Which of course puts me in a position were I can’t actually know if they sound better, worse or the same. But I’ve heard bootlegs (You can’t really compare the real thing with bootlegs, though) and I can’t hear any significant different.

I don’t like the thought of have to add additional musicians just because of the sound of their latest effort. They haven’t needed additional musicians before, so I just can’t see the point for that now either. I have to say that if they can’t play their own music by themselves they shouldn’t write music like that.

This is just opinions, as you nicely pointed out, I can’t really know. Perhaps they are better then ever, but I hardly doubt that. It’s not like bobby is making Jon hit all the high notes again…

I can hear some significant differences even on the bootlegs. Blaze of glory, the harmonica for example.

Bon Jovi don't need additional musicians, but they want additional musicians. If it helps to put on a great show and to make them feel better on stage that's OK for me.

They don't make Jon sound better but they really fill out the sound, add harmonies. Plus it's nice to have a constant second guitar and harominies. It's a big difference.

If you say so. I guess within time I will be able present a "real" opinion.
