Why dont people understand? the set list generally is pretty much the same give or take maybe 5 songs. This is because they are the most well known songs. I am a massive fan and have been for about 15yrs, but i do understand that a high percentage of people attending now are not so die hard and many wouldnt even know unreleased singles and album tracks.
How can Bon Jovi play a gig and leave out Bad Medicine or Bad Name, these are songs the EVERYONE knows, its why most people go to see them.

Would like to see a GNR concert when they dont play Paradise City, Sweet Child O' Mine or Patience, of course not.

Now argue with that!!!!!!....

as for the Guns N Roses... bare in mind that whether you like their music or not, it was all ROCK music so i wouldn't have problems with the set as i'd see a 100% rock show

At least Guns N' Roses frequently changed the order in which they played it (although they always ended with Paradise City).

Perhaps Bon Jovi gets a good crowd response from this setlist and that's wy the don't make much changes.

for the last time: some of us are fans for 10 years or even more - the others are fans since 2months- most of them change - we stay! but if the band gets boring most of us change either because i wouldn't go 10 times to a concert where only the stage changes and i wouldn't buy another 10 times an album with the "quality" of crush which is actually high treason on rock'n'roll- i don't say they mustn't play hits at concerts but 2000 and 2001 the reviews of bj concerts in austrian media were "cool show but again they only played their hits..." and i really understand it and i'd really appreciate it if they ****ing change their set list

despite of that: up there you named 3 songs which GNR repeated- bj repeats 13 songs over and over again!!!!

Check out a few setlists from Pearl Jam! They change at least 10 songs a night!

that's how a rock show should be!

I reckon! I'm getting three of their bootlegs from the Oz Tour and they are all VERY different, though they were all done within about 10 days of each other.

I really dont mind what they play. BUT I would not miss I'LL SLEEP WHEN I AM DEAD and BAD MEDICINE. Cause those two songs NEED to GO AWAY!!!!!

But again..as log I am seeing them live it does not matter what they are playing but it will be nice if they stop playing "SLEEP" and " MEDICINE".
