Gimme a bottle of vodka and I can do anything.
Though I don't know I'll create any goosebump moments. Well, not when it comes to bass playing, that is

It was "been there, done that" for me at Giants, but when he did the same at the Tweeter Center a couple of nights before, I screamed like a girl.

all good memories! for each and everyone its a different feeling, thats why we're all fans!

sitting waiting at your first show for the opening chords, the end finally arrives after what seems a very short couple of hours, tears of joy at seeing and hearing one of your fave bands playing your fave songs, hearing the opening chords of one of your fave songs which brings excitment to you, waiting at your first full indoor show for the opening chords of a classic song which gives you goosebumps, waiting in the pooring rain for countless shows with all your friends who have the same thing in common, making weeks of plans to go and not be disappointed, having your fave band make you laugh, smile, cry, jump for joy at the show....

Thats 2 of mine you mentioned, at Maine Rd 96. The whole first time from start to finish was really emotional id waited to long to see them. I think These days live was the best though.

Others would be the first time I saw them from the pit, when Jon walked out and up to where we were stood I got proper star struck. Never say goodbye at Cardiff, Diamond Ring at Dublin and finally realising the opening to Living in Sin at MK!!!

What - nobody knew there was someone famous in our midst? LOL.

Sorry about the typo - sometimes the brain really messes with the fingers.

Now, this is what we're talking about despite all the negativity over who likes LH, who doesn't, are they as good as they used to be? blah blah blah....

These are the reasons I'm a Bon Jovi fan.....the magic of the live show from the best damn live band in the world.

My first show, at Ibrox in '96 and the pipe band were on stage playing Lay Your Hands....the way the lights went down and Jon came out on his own singing It's Hard (Letting You Go) for one of the encores....the piano arrangement for Runaway at Gateshead in 00'..I'll Be There For You at Hampden for OWN where the crowd just about tore the roof of the joint singing along....Jon speaking to me at Shephards Bush 'cause I was going nuts, and him grinning up at me and then launching into Sleep When I'm Dead...When they read someones sign at Amsterdam for the Bounce tour that said "have some balls, play I Believe" and they did, first time I'd heard it in concert.....being front row at Hyde Park as they played These Days then Never Say Goodbye...and even on the last tour at Hampden Park in GA with these couple of guys I've never met, going nuts because they were just so bloomin' awesome that night.

Yup, outside of all the bullshit, this is why I love Jovi and no other band I've seen live even come close (INXS aren't too far away, and it's easier to get to the front, but the magic isn't quite the same. Funky show though).

I've only ever seen them once so far, so all of my memories from that day are of the whole new experience. Seeing the guys come up onto the stage 1 by 1, the opening chords of Last Man Standing ringing out, building up pace. Then Jon walks out onto the walk-way at one side and everyone goes even more crazy, seeing them from so close too after being a fan for maybe 6 years at the time. Feeling the energy of the 60,000 people packed in around me, couple of little surprises through the main set, getting more 'into it' as the show went on, singing along, waving my arms in the air. Seeing some of my favourite songs, seeing Richie nail some solos that I love. Then getting to the encores, seeing sheets of lyrics put down for Jon and getting hopeful (it ended up being Welcome To Wherever You Are) and then the 2nd encore seeing a hell of a lot more lyrics sheets and just knowing what was about to come...me and my friend went crazy when we heard that low rumbling that signalled the start of Dry County. My favourite song for so long, back that tour, and being played right there and then with me 30ft away. Singing along at the top of my lungs, enjoying every second of it. Then feeling a shiver run through the place as they go into Wanted Dead Or Alive, and then being surprised that it didn't end when Keep The Faith starts straight afterward, ending the night very much on a high. Going home and being hoarse for days, not being able to sleep that night from still being so pumped.

THAT moment during the opening keys of Dry County in Dusseldorf last summer. Me, Carli, Thierry, Aija, Tash, Florin, and Vallie all just went nuts. Words can't describe.

Other than that...Hearing the crowd at the start of Runaway live at Giants Night One last year. They were SO freakin' loud! Then of course The FC scream at I Am and the same for Wild Is The Wind at Giants Night Three

Anyone who was at Dublin for the Crush tour will understand when I say the entire show was just magical. The thunder and lightning show, These Days in the encore, opening with Prayer at my very first ever rock concert and being in the 2nd row... Queuing up beforehand, not knowing what to excpect when some security guy comes up and gives me and my brother wristbands for the front enclosure, and then walking in and just seeing the stage and realising just how damn close we were going to be.

Bon Jovi covering U2's ''one'' in Dublin 2001, OWN tour, and the crowd continuing to sing it loooong after the band left the stage.

These Days again on the Bounce tour in Dublin, looking up above the stage at the clear night sky and seeing the stars begining to come out.

Opening with Last man standing in Dublin, and Jon standing 1m in front of me. Richies ''I'll be there for you'' absolutely BLOWING me away.

Dry county this tour...during the build up to the main solo I realised i was drumming along so hard that i was hurting my girlfriends back lol

I could go on and on....!

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

Readin this thread is givin me goosebumps now!!

Cardiff 2001: my first show, great atmosphere, great show capped off by These Days and Never say goodbye.

Hyde Park:amazin weather, 92,000 people, great versions of Keep the faith and I'll be there for you. Again These days and NSG (how lucky am i?!) Amazin day

Milton Keynes 06: Again, amazin weather. Seein Jon 3 ft away on the catwalk, Boys r back in town! 2 of the most emotional performances of IBTFY (richie is a legend) and These Days again!!

The O2: The noise when the intro to prayer started and people saw richie was amazin, only topped by when Jon appeared on the big screen! the new songs soundin great, jons gaze at richies solo on any other day and just an electric atmosphere all night.

There is nothin in the world like seein Jovi live!
