* Someone had said to him that if the band would have sold 15k tickets, they wouldn't have cancelled the show in Córdoba. Tico would have played even with a cerebral palsy...
Really..."a cerebral palsy"? Do you even know what you're talking about?

Yes, as I said, someone has said that on twitter. Not me!

Last night Tico Torres underwent an emergency appendectomy. Thankfully, the operation was a success and Tico is now recovering in the care of his doctors at the American British Cowdray Hospital. We’d like to thank the doctors, nurses and all the hospital staff who helped our friend through this difficult time.

We’ll remain here with Tico in Mexico City and will see him through his release. David and I spent the day with him at the hospital and Tico sends his thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers. He wants everyone to know that it was his desire to perform. He even promised the doctors he would come back for the surgery right after the show but the doctors prevailed.

We know many of you make great efforts and travel from around the world to see us on tour. It remains our desire to give you the best that we have every night. We are sorry for any inconvenience this sudden change of plans may have caused. We’ll re-schedule any dates that we can and will continue the tour through December. Check BonJovi.com for tour updates.

On behalf of the band, I’d like to thank all of you who support us throughout these challenges.

See you soon. - JBJ

Updated Latin America Tour Schedule

September 20 - Rio de Janeiro, BR - Rock in Rio
September 24 - Santiago, CL - Estadio Monumental
September 26 - Buenos Aires, AR - Velez Sarsfield
September 29 - Mexico City, MX - Foro Sol
Amazing how much this message differs to the info we got when Richie had his 'personal issues'. It just goes to show that it's Richie that is preventing the truth from coming out.
I think Jon saying that Tico even offering to delay the surgery could also be seen as a little dig at Richie.

I know, it makes it truly obvious he can't talk about Richie or he would have by now. So, it's Richie's story to tell as he's always said.

I still can't get over the fact that it's dragged out this long.

But best wishes for Teek for a speedy recovery.

I wonder if Tico's wife flew out to Mexico to see him.

She's hot....
