I guess it is mostly an Aerosmith crowd so it's understandable.

On that note - Richie didn't come out to do a song with Aerosmith, did he? Was having secret hopes that might happen...especially after seeing this:

It's a shame that Aerosmith not invite Sambora and Orianthi, it would have been great.

10 years ago, Steven and Sambora playing Wanted.

My God, 10 years ago Sambora had a awesome voice.

I'm holding out hope he'll join them at Calling Festival. Feels like that might be the kind of evening for something impromptu. He's got the next day off, his flight to Dublin will be from London...Would love it.

Just a little FYI; Richie's setlist for Download had 'Use Somebody' in the second slot and 'The Distance' as the penultimate song.

I'm presuming Use Somebody is a Kings Of Leon cover as opposed to a new track.

I was fortunate enough to have a very quick chat with Richie after his set and I have to say he seemed completely sober. They didn't stick around too long after he'd been on though hence no Aerosmith guest appearance.

I also had a pee next to Luke Ebbin in the toilets but figured that wasn't the best place to ask about the next album!

So The Distance was on the setlist but not played? Interesting, I'd love to hear that

Wanted - LYHOM -
I'm definitely liking the new drummer. He keeps a nice brisk tempo and gets into the songs a lot more than the last guy.
