RS's been in the band for almost 30 years. If that's some sort of pre-show ritual with BJ, he's probably used to it by now, so there's nothing wrong with him doing it at solo shows as well.

Yeah I get that. But before his tour started I got the feeling he wanted to put his own slant on things, but so far he's just covering songs that he was "restricted" in co-writing. He made 3 solo albums, but in these festivals he's rarely playing songs off any of them, but playing it safe with these songs he co-wrote with the terrible dictator Jon that has given him no creative freedom.

I just feel that in a little way he's going against a couple of his principles here because he wants to be inependant and relevant, but knows that he can't be without Bon Jovi songs

Nowadays very cool band performance! Richie is brillant on guitar, and the drummer definitely is very good. This is Rock N' Roll!
