This tour is turning into a car crash. The fella clearly has all sorts of issues and a chip on his shoulder. Not knowing the lyrics is beyond unforgivable.

I'm sorry I bought tickets for Dublin. I hope that if Bon Jovi continues - it's without Richie. I lost some respect when he left the tour. By now, I've lost all of it.

And Richie definitely had a few before the show, if not completely drunk, he was basically babbling when talking to the audience or had a drunk "ring" to his voice for most of the time, and made comments and jokes that are creepy even for Richie He also made a remark about him becoming too skinny so that his pants always fall down (he had to pull them up a couple of times, one time even joking if someone would like to come up and do it for him) - and that while becoming all fat and bloated again. Just sad

Other than that, the playing seemed way better than in the clips I've seen from the previous shows, didn't notice any big mistakes, much improvisation, good tracking of licks and solos between Orianthi and him. His voice was also pretty good for the most part. Sound was great, as was the band. The drummer especially Storybook Love sounded great live!

What really pissed me off is him constantly having a go at Jon during these shows (yesterday at least twice as far as I remember). I was really mad at him after Learning How To Fly, because after the line in the first verse "Guess I got fooled by a famous face" he said "Guess by who" and grinned. F*ck off, Richie, you just don't treat people that enabled you to do what you do today like that, even if you had a fight or are drunk. Just not classy in any way...

So mixed emotions for me I guess
Not cool Richie... Not cool

Yeah, I considered that, but given his other comments on how you gotta be true to yourself and just have fun and improvise and so on (can't remember all of them and don't want to honestly), I think it is pretty clear who he meant... Also because he emphasized the first few lines like "look, I'm here with you now, how did this happen?" and then that comment came...

I could be wrong of course, but it wasn't the only comment like that, and in the last couple of shows and interviews there were more of the same...

I say this because in concert Australia said that he was dedicated to his damn ex-wife or something.

Yes, he did. He's most likely got a problem with her too (or probably had, because on the photos from their vacation together they did seem pretty comfortable with each other)...

All I'm saying is that if it was a dig at Jon, he shouldn't forget that Bon Jovi made him famous and without it, he wouldn't be able to play these shows or make albums, and alienating what's left of your fan base with comments like that is neither the smartes move to make nor classy in any way...

Also I wonder that if he is drinking again (which I'm sure he is), what Orianthi, Ava or even Luke Ebbin have to say about that, or if they say anything to him at all...

It's just sad to see both Jon and Richie, who are some of my idols, ruinng their legacy in such a way, each for their own personal/professional problems

Well, if Richie is in the drink, at least has the surveillance Luke Ebbin, is his friend. I mean, maybe they know, and advise, but Richie has to be a difficult person to deal with. I'm glad that Luke is on your side, it's your safety net.

It is easy to abandon a friend in trouble. So the task of Luke is admirable, it is there nonetheless. For how long? we'll see. I hope Richie has a speedy recovery and know heal their wounds.

i ve watced every available youtube video, its not the same as the live experience but some remarks...
richie is sloppy as hell, many many mistakes, sth unacceptable in the youtube age especially for a guy of his status...
the band is better, the drummer looks and sounds cool.
orianthi...that girl can surely shred but imo is just one sided guitarist, not even musician...she shreds the pentatonic licks just fine but doesnt play any rythm pattern or lick, only some obvious chords...if you notice she plays only chords and an ocassional solo...no creativity no second guitar fills...i think she doesnt even play the wanted opening riff...thats just lazy imo...most of us dislike bobby but the guy at least plays some background melodies...
i hope richie comes back, bj are a joke without him, but these last months sadly he became a joke himself...in the begining of the wan tour richies chops were just fine for the 2000s standards so he probably doesnt try to rehearse and practise.

Yes, very stupid, he believe be Jimmy Hendrix, that he can do a concert and improvise ... when not even know the lyrics.
