Listen to his "speech". How can one watch this and not think he's drinking?

And again, I'm not expecting "in his prime" Richie to come back, but the Richie of 2012 didn't look or sound anything like that.
Exactly, was the same yesterday. Mumbling and babbling.

Notice that white cup? He had that in Berlin yesterday, too. Wonder what's in there - he kept sipping at it all the time, in addition to his water bottle. Also he had a (third) glass with something looking like Coke yesterday, who knows what was in there... Again, of course we all don't know *if* he is drinking, but it sure as hell looks (and sounds) like it.

Absolutely not convinced by that video...I mean, yes it may be alcohol, and yes he might be sinking faster than the Titanic, but that's not evidence.

I suggest one of you get to the first row and try to smell his breath....that would be conclusive When I do concerts, I often have a couple of cups or glasses etc (sometimes even white plastic ones), but there's no alcohol in any of them. Now, after the performance, that often changes

I was in Berlin and it was a mess, the show, Richie... even the crowd around us was lame, no clapping, no singing and we were in the 5th row on the left side. I couldn't believe it. I'm glad we were in Munich, the show was... let's say decent but the crowd was awesome.

Yeah, I know what you mean. But real evidence will be hard to find, so we gotta judge (if we want to) by what we see/hear. Also I didn't say there was alcohol in one of the cups, just that I'm wondering whether there was...

And to your other post: I was standing a bit further back on the right side, and people did clap a lot and sing, as far as I could tell. Of course it can always be more, and probably was in Munich, judging by the comparison of crowds between Berlin, Hamburg, Dresden to Munich on Bon Jovi concerts

I've noticed the drummer is almost completely blocked out of sight by Richie's amps. That's a bit shitty.

i was really disappointed by richie last night too... the singing wasn't too bad, but when he spoke the first thing that came to my mind was: boy, he is sooo drunk!

it just wasn't fun to watch. and i hated him for messing up so many lyrics it's disrespectful to the fans who saved up to buy the tickets (and in many cases also train tickets and hotels)...

i actually left before the show was over, couldn't stand it anymore

I'd forgotten you were living in Berlin and might be going to the show. I can't remember much of your opinions on Bon Jovi shows and how I used to rate them (which clearly is very important here) but I'm sorry you felt it was shit. Oh well, at least you beat the traffic.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
