Maybe. But he's now on good terms with Heather so why take a dig at her beyond the lyrics. He's not on good terms with Jon so, to me, a dig at him was more likely given current circumstances regardless of who the song was originally about.

No I meant reviews from people on here.

When did he say the song was about Heather? I initially thought myself that Hearher was the famous face, but I don't recall him saying that. I later thought it was Jon, then I came to the conclusion that being fooled by a famous face referred to him coming to the realization that he had, at some point, started buying into his own hype and that image of himself was the famous face, and why he then says I'm tearing down what's left of my reflections.

Given what I assume is the current atmosphere, it wouldn't surprise me if it was a dig at Jon. But it's not much worse, IMO, than Jon's PR group working OT to filter every "top" list that comes out to find something they can say the band is "top" for last year and never failing to point out that it happened "even without guitarist Richie Sambora". Digs are still flying from both directions as far as I can see.

Some reviews were saying he'd intro the song by saying it. I've never seen video proof of it though, does anyone have a link?

Has Jon's PR really done that? Can't say I've seen it. To me, Jon for all his faults, has conducted himself really well since this kicked off aside from the comment about The Edge.

Not that I've seen either. I find it highly doubtful that Jon has a a writer of Forbes magazine or any of the other news agencies that pick up the stories on his payroll. It's simply good journalism to report that the tour did well without Sambora. The expectation was that the tour would be plagued with problems because he left, but it wasn't at all. The only real problems were related to Tico's organs deciding they wanted out. Obviously, if you were writing about the BWC tour being the #1 tour in the world, you would put in the article that it was done without Richie there. That's part of the story. It's not a personal dig at Richie by Jon. I swear some people think Jon has way more power than he does.

Yea, I'd like to hear a bit more on the filtering of lists theory, lol!! Usually, the lists are from info that can be picked up by the media outlet, like Forbes, Billboard (info on revenues supplied by the promoter which is audited information).
