See ghosts where there are none.
Many people on stage, improvisation is a little out in some time, nothing more. Do not look for drama where none exists.

I guess that Jon's tricks work best. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1UodTQHHyU#t=01m22s

I watch the odd video but not the entire gig, which is what some people were recording. It's also weird when you make the effort to get so close to the front to then spend a lot of the gig staring at your phone.

People videoing the entire gig are not doing it for altruistic reasons. If they gave a damn about others getting to see the show they might have a tiny bit of consideration every now and then for the people stuck behind them at the live event trying to see through their arms. It's really ignorant to record so much of the gig when it annoys others.

It doesn't bother me and as I watch videos on YouTube now and again I can't really complain, but I do find it strange to go to a gig and then watch a full show through a lens.

Haha still using Jon to boost up how great Richie is. How unexpected.

I just don't think it's so unfortunate Living on a Prayer with the finalists. Some people just hate Richie, there's nothing wrong with that performance.

All these adjectives as drunk, awkward, ridiculous, high, drugs ... I'm tired of this shit. "Who Says" is one of the most ridiculous moments of the last tour. This is just a reminder that everyone makes a fool sometimes, even the perfect man.

If you think he s operating anywhere near the Richie of even ten years ago you're deluded.

Also I met him and saw him being assisted going up a few stairs- seemed totally out of it! Not normal behaviour....unless you re Richie Sambora

On a lighter note. I have in my possession the very guitar pick he used during 'Wanted' and 'These Days' (and possibly 'The Answer') to close the show. I have to thank my extremely generous brother for giving it to me though as it did hit his arm and land on the floor in front of him. Pretty cool souvenir from the show!

Meh I was on holiday and don't regret missing this at all.

Guess that means I'm over Richie - 5 years ago I'd have flown to one of the other gigs just to see him. Sad to hear about him being off his face but I'm not totally surprised, he's fast becoming a sad old drunk that can't accept or fight the fact he's a sad old drunk.

No one's even talking about Richie bringing people up on stage here, yet you act as if everyone's complaining about it? You then go on to say there's nothing wrong with the performance yet at the same time say the improvisation is "A little out of time".

If you constantly need to bring up Jon to defend Richie, you've not got a strong case to begin with as most people on here very much agree that Jon was a cluster**** last tour, and not many people were particularly impressed with the show they saw. Yet that one hour I saw in Milan in 2013 with Phil X is pissing all over anything Richie's been doing the past 2 years. That one hour contained an actual band with a frontman firing on all cylinders, giving all they had. Richie's firing on half a cylinder, fueled by alcohol and far from giving all he's got.

"Some people just hate Richie..." It's just not true, but he's not making it easy to love or like him either, with all these half assed attempts at "jamming". But you want to compare to Jon, right? Considering how you've so far not posted one video where Richie's not ****ing up, give me one video where Richie is as focussed as Jon is in this video.

Give me 1 video of last tour that shows how Richie's got the entire venue eating out of the palm of his hand without ****ing up either the chords or licks, where he's not forgetting the lyrics. Give me that one video where Richie's giving all he's got. Just one song. For comparison's sake, right?

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
