And yes he's finally tired of doing solos from songs off Crush/Bounce/HAND because they aren't as kickass as the old stuff.

:P

What drugs are you on?!

He kicked ass on SIBSN and Raise Your Hands, that's about it.

I don't know why he is a bit absent, but maybe it's the act itself. I mean it's more a "Jon and the guys" tour than the previous ones, especially with the extra musicians and the all for Jon parts in the crowd. Jon&Richie didn't interact as much as they usually do either.

that is very disheartening

This is a very sad situation coz I love the band and Richie when he is happy on stage is just sparkling.... I am thinking this tour is a Jon tour (JON with his musicians but JON )

Hmmm...bit the way I feel about the past 3 Jovi albums...JBJ albums with the guys backing him. [esp. Crush]
Hopefully it is a 'just one of those things' that happens...maybe they are a bit p!ssed at one another for some reason...maybe RS hasn't done his Xmas shopping yet...hopefully, post Xmas, whatever may be the problem will have disappeared.

[PS...Glad to see you here again ]

Default well, yeah...

I noticed he looked extremely thin too. I was up in the pit on his side and was astonished at how thin he looks. Hope he's not sick or something. Or hopefully it's just a winter time bug type thing. Side note: I am fairly sure he yelled LET's RIDE at Wanted b/c I was waiting, listening for it. Anyway, I agree he seemed down or something. Unfortunately for celebs, people notice every little nuance that may be out of place from the norm. Yeah, everyone has bad days now and then but we get to just hole up and be pissed on our own- someone like Richie has to still stand up and try to be dazzling when he's not feeling up to it. He wasn't 'on fire' but certainly didn't suck. He came over to our pit a couple different times, maybe b/c we were all yelling our fool heads off. He smiled and said, "Hey baby" to someone as he was changing guitars. Whatever may be wrong, he still is f*ing awesome!!

He was fine in Chicago and Madison. Really into the Madison show as a matter of fact. I'll see how he is in Milwaukee next month.

He's probably just pacing himself. He's been through enough tours and difficult periods in his life (I'm not saying he is going through a difficult time I'm just saying he's dealt with many situations before) which have been documented publicly to know how to look after himself. It's well known he doesn't cope well with being away from home but his career dictates that he has periods away and he's experienced enough to get himself through.

Richie was fine in minneapolis and Omaha, he was excellent. Someone said at I believe MSG or Philly that he had goten a very bad cold, maybe it's lingering.
Heather is out with him now, maybe she will make him feel better.
