Look , ive gone to EVERY show on this tour so far , ill say this , there of cource has been better shows than otheres no doubt about it . I always think these things get fanned out and blown out of proportion in droves.
I agree with Queen , Becky Kathleen all made some vital comments and points.
Bobby is deff borning...competent yes borning aggreed. But Jon adores the guy , and uses him for everything so I guess he must see something in him we dont.

Im not unhappy all in all with what im hearing and seeing....
For the most part its stellar with high and low points..not untypical

"As my Guitar lies Bleeding in my Arms" *cough* Richie *cough*

Well it seems from these replies Richie has been up and down. Could be Age, could be tourette/marital problems, whatever, but i mean he's up sometimes it could easily just be sickness or tiredness. I don't think Bobby should ever become the guitarist, the only thing he does is sway side to side playing a few notes. Pretty much if Richie bails out, the band breaks up; And i don't think Richie is gonna want that anytime soon. The only thing i feel angry about is Richie not being able to play some good 'ol solos in the new songs, or perform IBTFY.

Back when Bounce came out Jon and Richie both kept referring to it as more of a "Jon and Richie" album than anything else had been in years. I don't remember the exact quote, but they said they would continue the band if anyone else left, but not without each other.

I don't get why some people say Richie isn't able to play solos. He has the ability and I don't believe anyone is stopping him from doing so. They're either trying to keep the songs shorter to fit more in the alloted time or he's just not into doing extended solos. He never really has been one to just go on and on and on anyway. And I'm glad that Jon is back on vocals for IBTFY. Does anyone else think that they ought to do Nobody's Hero before IBTFY since they sung it in that same kind of style that they're doing IBTFY now?

Wow they said this? I agree the band really is very much mostly J and R.. They write pretty much all the songs and are the driving force. What is the last thing Tico wrote.. Secret Dreams off of 7800. And Dave has written maybe 5 or 6 songs witht he band ( i know he writes his own music) in 23 years. I couldn't imagine anyone else up there on guitar but Richie. I also cannot imagine anyone else on drums or keyboards besides those two... that is what makes them a band. As much as I love Jon and Richie.. and they are my two favorite members... I know I would miss Tico and Dave alot... no matter how much input they bring to the creation of songs. They couldn't just be replaced.

And Jon and Richie I bet would have a hard time carrying on too. They really wouldn't be a band anymore.. it would be a duo .. J and R and then accompanying musicians.... if Hugh is never going to be a band member they wouldn't just add two new band members if T and D left... no way. That would be the end of the "band" Bon Jovi as we know it.

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3
