Richie coming on stage as a guest and directing the whole band while seemingly off his tits was very entertaining. This Ocarina lady might be bringing bad boy Richie out of hiding. Someone hide the Hummer keys!

Very cool performance. Richie still seems sloppy (or is that just because Orianthi is just too damn awesome?), but this was miles ahead of some other recent videos.

You're Jon Bon Jovi and you have RS as a guitar player... you either A. Keep him in a cage and use him as minimal as possible. Extract him from the creative process while digitizing his vocals. Or B. Unleash that beast and allow him to maximize his full potential?

The results of WAN answers that question. I don't blame Richie for leaving at all.

Btw, I didn't see his daughter in the audience so so much for that crock of shit. He left because he was left out of the creative process and Jon dicked him out of money because of it. Although the daughter excuse is probably partially true, Richie is the bigger person for taking the fall instead of calling Jon out Publicly.

In regard to the post above: Maybe Ava doesn't have / want to be with her father 24/7?

Great vid, great duo, great look Mr Sambo (close to the HAND tour, almost 10 yearsa go!).

Not that I agree with his reasoning that he wanted to be home with his daughter, there's a HUGE difference between a week of shows in Australia and going on a full tour.

He's been all over the songs writing wise post 2000 so this "he wasn't creatively interested" talk is hooey.

I'm agree. Richie has spent enough time with her daughter, now his schedule is free, he can be with her daughter, he can be making solo shows and new albums, this is not a tour of 100 concerts/year.

About his new look, is coolest.

Its obvious while Richie was innovated with Aftermath, Jon and John were moving forward with WAN without Richie. Richie's studio time was very limited, hence the electronic vocals.

Thats why when someone asked Jon if he was doing another solo album, he said at this point there is no difference (power phrase).

Bty
Richie's new look is bad ass and he's ready to become a rock star again. That dude is as real as it gets. He's not trying to play pretend Bill Clinton.
