I agree but I'd like to add that I think it would be a good idea to implement a compulsory military service in the US, so that some people would finally gain an insight into whom and what they actually support.
The ones that give their lives are not the sort of heroes the media want them to be. They don't save the freedom for the ones back home in the first place, although I think that this is really what they get rammed into them. They do a job, a tough one, and they often have to do it for much less respectable reasons than "saving western freedom". |
