So yeah. Richie has been replaced. Still with out him apparently the crowds were still going wild and it seems as if even with out Richie the show is going to go on.
I know it's wrong and I know people payed and that they have contracts but I can't help feel as if the band should have canceled and waited for Richie to get better, because like it or not he's irreplaceable. |
First of all, the title to this thread is sensationalist. We already know from the topic in the Tours forum that they did the show w/o Richie. He's not "replaced", they just did a show without him.
Secondly, I know Bobby sucks ass compared to Sambora, but you basically answered your concern. They can't just CANCEL all the shows that Richie might miss while in rehab. It's just not pragmatic, and one positive about JBJ is that he is pragmatic (most of the time).
They don't have a real tour this summer, and Richie isn't going to still be in rehab by October, nevermind the '08 tour. You're looking at this very black and white. He hasn't been replaced.
