He made a comment about Orianthi being just 4 years old and that it made him a paedophile but that was ok.
I think he just broke his own record for the stupidest, irresponsible, not funny at all remark.

Richie should really learn how to sing it properly. But nice try, it can improve during the tour.
Still - not as bad as I was expecting. Obviously my expectations are pretty low but this definitely has possibilities.

That was embarrassingly bad. I really hope he improves on it and it gets better, I'd love to see it fleshed out and played right.

He's really fumbling for the lyrics here. I think at one point he said "We are the light" and had his hand on his chest like he really thought those were the words. Almost as funny as Montreal 2006 when I heard him slur "Words can't say what love me do" during IBTFY.

It's a shame that he's added a mediocre BJ song to the setlist.
Also a shame that he likes it so much that he doesn't knowwords.
An even bigger shame than he spends most of the time looking at the floor, reading the teleprompter.
Then when he does, his eyes aren't good enough and he can't even see the words!
So he resorts to either making it up, mumbing something or not even bothering and just standing there till a word that he remembers turns up.

Video already dubbed with my audio:

The Answer

I've decided that I'm not going to be bothered to do a review. I think it's for the best, since it wasn't a good experience for me.

Thanks for the links. They aren't working now, but apparently they should in a few minutes.

It's a shame if you don't review this. I often find train-wreck reviews a lot more entertaining than praises. But off course, it's your choice, I respect that.

EDIT: Listening to The Answer now, it actually sounds decent to my ears!

Well the performance on The Answer is much better and Richie even jokes about remembering the words.

What a disaster that was!

It looked like Richie focused on learning the chords/riffs/solos more than the actual song. That was an embarrassing performance.

I loved the start too. Had a more rocky sound to it... And then he started singing.

Yes, some songs should rehearse more, especially the lyrics. But it has not been a disaster. Only needs to improve, and he will.
