Got to say that Richie was on fire there, I was worried he'd balls up and it'd be really embarrassing but that was great. Definitely milked it a little bit but can't blame him for that. Maybe playing to all those people again will make him want to do it on a more regular basis...

Haha, yeah he was jamming the outro out for ages and you could see Dolly look at him like "what in the name of Alabama is he doing?!" I think it worked though, brought some rock & roll to a pretty tame sounding set.

When he puts his mind to it, you've got to say that he's still got it

Who would have thought that performing with Dolly Parton would be one of the best things Richie could do?

He was pretty Damn good there, and got a decent reception. Almost makes you wish Jovi had given Glastonbury a bash one year. Richie himself would have been a decent afternoon slot too

Had a blast at Calling Festival yesterday Aerosmith was brilliant, as were most of the other acts. Thought Richie rocked! some of his solo's and outro's were brill, his playing seemed better he still missed a few lyrics here and there and his voice wasn't perfect but it was a good set, here are a few of my vids:

Learning How To Fly -
Nowadays -
Stranger In This Town -
One bit that did make me cringe was he tried to do the singalong outro to Every Road and no-one barely sung and he said something like 'Looks like a no then' and started laughing and finished it earlier than expected, felt bad for him, cringe.

That was good. Richie seemed to really enjoy it!

Good to see him like that again.
