Yup very wrong. I'm fairly sure it was U2 who didn't play glasto for decades despite being asked because they were demanding too much money for it. Ya know, Bono doesn't walk on water for anything under 7 figures etc etc

It's a much lower fee than any other festival of it's size. They have so many different stages and donate a lot to charities. The artists get a fee but one that probably just covers travel costs etc. Springsteen said as much when interviewed about it. They make their money off the exposure it gives them.

btw, saw Aerosmith in Milano...damm they were good. They are one of the best band live, for that age better than Stones
