I don't think Jon ever said "Aftermath" per se, but in the video I couldn't find, I'm pretty sure he said something like "... so, yeah, I'll be doing these songs and Richie will be doing some of the songs from his new album..." But that's from memory. If I can find the video, I'll give you the exact quote.

I don't disagree about the mini-tour. But like I said, with all the negativity since then, I can see why he might figure that most of those who had tickets have already written him off (or would be so disillusioned they'd assume he wouldn't show up anyway). Even so, I understand where you're coming from; and I wish he would, too.

I just think he really believed in Aftermath, it was a great record. If the biggest reason he left the tour was because he couldn't promote it then promoting it when things started to cool down a little would have solidified that theory. From what I understand he had one or two music videos in the can and I cant' for the life of me figure out why that all stopped. Everything was gearing up for Seven Years Gone being a single.

He also posted footage of him recording a new version of one of the songs, looked to be an acoustic version or something, with violins maybe? I'm a little foggy on it. I can't remember what song it was? Maybe Weathering The Storm?

Anyways, there were rumours of an EP or something, but it never happened...

There's also footage of Forgiveness Street with strings being added. I totally forgot but yeah, there was plans to re-release Aftermath. That's kind of what doesn't add up to me. There was every opportunity to keep it going and get the album out there but everyone kind of gave up on it.

I'd certainly pay whatever ridiculous amount they want to charge if they ever reunite, no second thoughts. Richie IS Bon Jovi.

Will it ever be the same? No
Will it save the band? Judging from the HOF performance it'll be half-cringe half-wishful thinking

I don't live in the past though. I vividly remember not being very happy with 2 consecutive poor albums and the worst start to a BJ tour ever. I wasn't queueing outside the ticket office in 2013 when Richie was still there. I'd been hard to convince to spend my money then so that's over, BJ as it was died in 2011.A thousand Richie's won't bring it back.

But it'll help. Not that it'll ever happen.

Jon knows.

"Without Richie Sambora, the sound wouldn't be the same."

Except that link was to Forgiveness Street.
(But it's all good; call it a 2-fer. If you click into the description, it shows the link to "Taking a Chance on the Wind".)

Do you remember where you heard about that? I know you've brought it up before; so if I've already asked this question, I apologize. I don't doubt you; I just don't remember hearing anything about a re-release except when you've mentioned it and I'm curious.
