Wasn't sure which thread to post this in as it pertains to all of Richie's shows in Australia but anyway...

One major problem Richie seems to have with getting the crowd going properly during a few songs is that it isn't abundantly clear what he wants the crowd to sing back to him. It's by far most noticeable in Wanted Dead or Alive, he holds the mic out to the crowd and it's not sure whether he wants them to sing "Dead or Alive" or the "wanted" echo or mimic what he's singing a la Freddie Mercury and consequently there's just a few confused mumbles and nobody really gets into it.

Yeah I got that exact feeling when he played Wanted in Adelaide. I just sang the Wanted Echo.
