Really do hate this for the people going but no show Sambo strikes again. They did book some larger venues - only Sydney shows any sections sold out. Even the meet and greets that they found a "handful" of are still available. The Melbourne venue holds 6K, wonder what the break even point is before promoters cancel? Perth was only 2K. What I saw this am that sounds the most accurate was not that he cancelled but that the promoter did. Brazil did very well but they had nothing BJ in over 20 years. May have over inflated the expectations.

He's got some guy (Beau Ryan) flying in to interview him at "his home in LA" for a Footy show/ sports to be aired in Australia on Friday.

I though she was such a big deal back home??? She had a family member tw safe travels to her after her couple of posts about "leaving tonight for oz" Friday - so this seems sudden imo if family still expected them on time.

At least the "reason" is not his daughter, who doesn't even live at home anymore. It's the album at a crucial stage - one that has been recorded on all over the world it seems and working on for over 2 years. Wonder if just telling it like it is ever crosses the mind.

I heard they cancelled because Richie's dog ate his passport.

Yup - far to familiar to me. I am so over him and his lack of honestly. I imagine Jon is too.

Quite honestly, as reasons go, "my dog ate my passport" sounds just about as credible to me right now as reaching "a critical stage" in the recording process does.

So you're saying Bon Jovi didn't "honor their commitment" for the 2013 Cleveland and Indy shows?

Shows with low ticket sales get canceled. It business. It happens.

The problem here is Richie's stupid excuse. No one with a functioning level IQ believes an album that has been in the works for over two years that they were in no rush along the way to finish it is in any sort of "critical stage." WTH is a "critical stage" in album making anyway? So dumb.

Of course they wouldn't announce the cancellation is due to low ticket sales, but just say "unforeseen circumstances" or something like that. Don't insult the fans' intelligence with some ridiculous excuse.

Richie never learns.

in some cases the artist and the promoter make a new agreement, maybe reduce the fee etc in order to gon on with the show, maybe richie would lose maoney by this show but he could still promote rso stuff,

bon jovi have cancelled very few times and the analogy doesnt apply imo. you compare 2 different worlds in that matter and why not bring up the canada show, 2-3 years back when they played free i think not to let the people down who had bought tickets,i think it was vancouver.

the excuse is ridiculous but i also believe that if an artist handles a situation like this with class can win big time in the long term

Naive fool... if she belives that she'll believe anything. these worshippers who make excuses for him make me ****in sad. someone needs to kick his ass big time..& Orianthi is too stupid & loved up with her man to do it.
Can't help but ask... does this make her a "housewife" or is that insult reserved for Jon fans only? Do equally, let's say "ardent" Richie fans get their own label such as "sheep"? Or is there just a double standard and Richie fans simply aren't categorized with a pejorative label despite being just as zealous even if outnumbered? I can't help but wonder.

Main issue is surely the total lack of notice? They're touring a nation with 2 weeks to sell tickets.
