Man, Bon Jovi's recent tour are like Mozart and Beethoven combined compared to this. Thank God for Phil X

Richie's voice is still strong. It's a shame he's pretty much directionless. Approaching every song/show like it's a spur of the moment jam session is just ****ing lazy.

I'm with you.

I still can't understand them (Richie and Orianthi). The producers told them "after the speech, you will play 2 songs, Prayer and Wanted". How on earth they managed to be so unprepared and mess up who sings the second couple or who plays what and when etc ? It's not the first time they play Prayer! I don't know if they are just lazy or fools anymore...

That's why I appreciate Jon and the band so much. There's the problem with the frontman's voice and confidence and you can't do a lot about it, but beside this, they are professionals. They don't mess up, everybody know their place and show that they have invested months in order to play (even the new songs) correctly. It's a shame that a talent like Richie's keeps getting wasted.

Yeah they ballsed up Prayer, but Wanted was solid.

Harmonica player is Hook Herrera who toured with Richie on some of the Undiscovered Soul dates...

Jon has screwed up lyrics a fair few times recently, but everybody lets him off for some reason. Richie does it and he's called out for being a mess. Phil X screwed up a couple of times at the smaller shows, and Shanks messed up recently on the US tour. But that's all acceptable it seems...

My problem with the band is that there in no emotion left, no passion. Richie still has that in spades in spite of everything going on with him...

Totally agree.

How ironic that both Jon & Richie most need what the other person has.

To be honest you can't compare the mistakes the guys in Bon Jovi does compared to Richie/Orianthi. Richie's performances lately are a constant and complete mess, while at Jovi shows it's a completely other level of professionalism and that's coming from me who have been very hard on Jovi lately.
Richie don't seem to give a **** anymore. He seems to think that because of his history he can walk out on stage and everything will sort itself out. The result is just tragic.

Jon isn't going on stage pissed though. Richie is a mess through lack of preparation and being under the influence.

Forgetting a lyric or putting a verse in the wrong order is forgivable if the rest of the show is professional.
