Some people seem to have this idea that Richie wants to play on the same level as Bon Jovi or try to fill arenas and stadiums. I don't think that's his goal. He's been in this business long enough to know that: 1) very few solo artists do that, even at the height of their careers, and 2) while he's well-known as Bon Jovi's guitarist, when it comes to his solo career or RSO, it's kind of like he's starting all over again.

That aside, I seem to remember an occasion when the band was more than happy to open for the Stones. If I recall correctly, Jon even told Mick he'd be willing to carry his luggage or something.
