I thought the Aus tour was pretty close to being a done deal though. If circumstances hadn't changed, it probably would have happened.

I saw some references on Backstage to Richie saying something about "Christmast stuff." Can anyone clarify? I don't feel like reading 12 pages when there are so few details. Thanks.

Dear God, I would LOVE that to be true!! Fingers crossed but not getting overly excited... expect nothing and you won't be disappointed but if it happens I will be a very happy girl. I am craving a Jovi concert right now...

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

It was almost a done deal.

I dont think anyone is saying Jon or Richie lie knowingly or maliciously

Until its official and everythings booked anything can happen.

Hoping for an aussie tour this time

Didnt some chap post a few weeks back about a supposed Wembley date in September? This would fit in.

Cant see a GH tour being a big one at all, probably play the largest venues they can in just the major cities in N.America and Europe and possibley a few Japan/Oz dates. I am surprised that they may be on the road again so soon - we can count ourselves lucky compared to some other bands and their touring (Aerosmith anyone?)

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

Pft. I think a boring greatest hits tour would be one they could take ANYWHERE, especially if they can manage to make another big single like Always that will skyrocket around the world and come close to selling their new GH package the way Cross Road sold.

I do believe touring for CR was a happy accident. They had initially planned to release what became These Days by April 2005, but Always was still in the Top 10 and they didn't have room to release a new single at that point. These Days got put off until June because of the success of Always, but the tour dates had been booked months prior, so they still played those shows.

i think its lucky that they had Always around at that time because these days didnt do that well at all in the states and the tour may not have been as well attended if they didnt release CR

I reckon this could be great if this happens... with some public interest from this country album being released and then a GH i reckon this could be a gd tour if it happens...i wonder how much involvement the country album songs will be involved in the setlists.... i reckon we'll probs get 4 orr 5 a night..wouldnt suprise me...wouldnt say it would be a bad thing either to be honest...

aslong as they don't play anything off TLFR and go for a full blown version of Always at one of the gigs over here in the UK ill be churpy!
