Default Richie should sing a cover!

Thats what I reckon obv I'd prefer him to sing one of his own but LYHOM just doesnt work for me. Apart from IBTFY in the early days, has he really blown anyone over with his version of a Bon Jovi song?

If he sang a cover people would still know it and be into it, also it would bring something different to the show.

Suggestions?

I reckon purple rain, bad love or something totally mad like use somebody by Kings of Leon. Before you laugh, who'd have thought Jon would ever sing Mercy?!!

If we can't have 'Hombeound Train' or 'Ballad Of Youth' ('cause he's not able to sing his own stuff it seems), just give him back 'I'll Be There For You'. He nails it where as Jon's just sounds weak since about 2000 whenever he's did it. It's lost its punch, whereas when Richie does it, it's brilliant and the outro solo is absolutely superb.

Maybe he could do Twist and Shout. I think he could pull that off. Or maybe some Elvis. I would like to hear him sing Life is a Highway by Tom Cochrane. Not the Rascal Flats version.

I know I'm in the minority, but LYHOM is actually my favorite "Richie does a Bon Jovi song."

I loved IBTFY on the Bounce tour but I think it went a bit stale. I think their duet of that is a highlight of the show.

Of course I'd love Stranger but just can't ever see it happening

"When A Blind Man Cries" as he did on Stuart Smiths "Heaven & Earth" album - my favourite cover of him.

This would work for me . . . and probably no one else in the venue:

I actually think he does a stellar job on Homebound Train, and that's a song that wasn't being done at all, so it isn't like we aren't hearing Jon do it because Richie took it.

I'm glad that IBTFY is a Jon song again on this tour.

I heard Stranger once. Loved it, but there was a major exodus. <sigh>

Of course, most people just wish he wouldn't sing at all, so does it really matter?
