I was thinking Moody Blues "Nights in White Satin" or "Reelin and Rockin" by the Dave Clark Five. But if I had a choice I would like to hear something of his.

Night 2 in Chicago on the LH tour. On that tour he did These Days at my first show of the tour, IBTFY at my second and Stranger at my third. After that, NINE IBTFYs in a row. Is it any wonder I'm glad that Jon's got it back?

I wasnt feeling TD at all, maybe its cos its one of my fave songs and just didnt want it messed with. Just love Jons version so much, Richie was on a hiding to nothing with it for me.

For the record, I wish Richie would do his own stuff. The set he used to open for the band a few years ago was one of the best shows I ever went to, but I'm a realist when it comes to that in a full band environment.

I'm pretty sure hell will freeze over before I hear Jon do These Days, but yes, I like the original of that better. I didn't hate Richie's version, but it's better as it was written.

Lay Your Hands On Me is killer by Richie, i love his version. I'll Be There For You was always something special but i love hearing jon singing it, i think he sounds fantastic on it aswell. I'd also take him singing These Days if it guruanteed i got to hear it live.

I'd like to hear Richie cover purple rain in full/solo song! If not though he could mix up the Bon Jovi songs he sings more often but i guess its what Jn allows him to do!

EDIT - We even picked the same one off YouTube!

haha I love the way you think Terri

And lucky you, you got to hear Stranger. I've never heard one of his own songs and I think it's not gonna happen in the near future either "sigh"

And as you said, the majority doesn't care at all which makes me sick.

We can't change it anyway, let's hope for a solo tour one day.

Richie should do 'Golden Slumbers'/'Carry That Weight'/'The End'. I would kill to hear him do that, but it's more of a band thing, I guess. It would never happen away from his solo tours, sadly.

hmm...ok, dont ask me why...but as soon as I read the thread title, I thought about "Sultans of Swing" - Dire Straits...

Richie would kill with this song ..at least the guitar part, not the voice part XD
and everyone knows it

but what I really would love to hear Richie sing is his solo songs...
tho nobody knows them, it would be a rest room moment for the show...its a shame.

Maybe in Europe...who knows....
