Richie is not the most motivated person around. Thank God Jon is there to manage everything, otherwise it would be ten to fifteen years between albums if it was left up to Sambora!

Don't throw stones at me Richie fans as I am just being sarcastic. Seriously, Richie does seem like a bit of a slacker sometimes when it comes to his solo work.

You don't think that's because he's more into what the band is doing though?

I mean, his solo albums only took a year and 1/2 - 2 years at the most. That's not a hell of a long time.

Some day he will. The album is ready. He just can't publish it when there is no band break or something. He can't get into competition with himself beside that he doesn't have the time at the moment to promote a solo album.

Considering that those interviews were from 8 years ago, I would hope he's got some more music together in that time
