Actually, the violin/guitar solo is 10x better than the regular solo. It fits perfectly...kind of like how I said these days has country influence in that other thread. Looks like I was right, and I'm not the only one agreeing.

I'm hoping they play this again tonight.
I really want to hear TD in any form, but I'm very interested to hear Sambo's take on it.

Just because you think it fits doesn't make you right. And even if I thought it would fit it still would not mean that These Days is country influenced. Again; a violin in a song doesn't necessarily make it more country.

Sebastiaan

It's good to see how Richie sing that song but ... This version is only ok.
Jon voice is better for this song and his version is more dramatic.

This version of this song is awesome

Agree 100% with this. They have got to stop changing these songs. These Days is great as it is, no need for a violin here. Surely it just needs to be used for the Lost Highway songs and nothing more. Were in danger of the band losing the Rock status.

In danger? I'm afraid that went a long time ago.

I love this new style of the song with Richie singing. I think it's fun when they do re-arrangements and change the songs somewhat.

The violin and guitar solo sounded really nice. Richie did a great job overall..
