No. Someone preferring this:

Over this:

http://www.bonjovi-archives.com/proper.mp3

Is, like you call it, a Backstage Sheep.

Salaam Aleikum,

Since I really love the song I'd rather hear Richie sing it well than Jon screech the high notes - but I guess I'm in the minority here.

Jon's voice is still excellent - he sounded wonderful on night 3 BUT - he simply can't (or won't) hit those notes that he was known for. Whatever the reason - he ain't gonna do it anymore. In that case - I'd rather hear Richie.

These Days is my all time favourite song and I think Richie does a phenomenal job on it. I don't think I could say I prefere Jon's version to Richie's because they're quite different. The song is very appropriate to what Richie has been through recently so that adds extra weight to his version, plus given what a good song it is the idea of it being in the set every night is an attractive prospect to me.

I would be upset if this meant I'd never get to hear Jon sing this song again but I don't think that will be the case so given how good Richie sings this song, I'd be very happy to see him sing this one every night on tour.

And to anyone who thinks Jon can't pull this song off anymore take a look at this:

Yes it tremendious but its also proof they he can't pull it of night after night or even more songs like this in one show.

Look at how he has too work for it - with the yeah's and ohno's. I don't mind tho, great version

PS Cool all the dl links in description.

Well I'm with you Kathleen. I thought Jon sounded ok on These Days at Giants last year - but now I think I was just excited they were playing it at all. After seeing Richie sing it there's no comparison.

Wow, Richie sings it better than I expected, but to be honest, it's not really better than Jon singin a good version of it.

Now don't get me wrong, if I had to choose between that Jon version and that richie version, I'd choose Richie's all the way. But there were times on the HAND tour where Jon actually nailed it. Well most of it

That MK version of TD was GREAT.
But, I doubt Jon can pull that off that well very often, and I really like the way Richie sang it. Fits him much better vocally than IBTFY IMHO.
