In my case, I love every solo Album of Richie. No just the thing with Bon Jovi. I like to see Sambora live, enjoy it much more than Jon and company live.

Jon's voice restricts him from so much. Even the song selections with the KOS are based on his voice.

Recently I was listening to SSJ songs that Jon would sing back up on or take a verse on from back in the day - 90s. Nothing But A Party (or House Party), This Time It's For Real, Broken Down Piece Of Man, etc and Jon sounds awesome on those tracks. Now when he does them as a lead vocalist, they are painful to listen to. He's slowed them down which is issue number 1 with songs like that, and his emotion is stripped from them. Those songs aren't that good to begin with but they are fun live songs if done right. Jon just strips all the fun out of them.

It saddens me when I look back on the past and compare it to now.

He's pretty much been trashing the band in every interview he's given since the Bon jovi tour ended - and whilst the tour was on he had his PR minions doing it for him.

Whilst I'm not saying he isn't off the mark with some of his comments either the old adage you don't bite the hand that feeds comes to mind.

In my case, bitten just too much.

If he comes back to the band and does something brilliant who knows, maybe I'll sing his praises again - but right now all I can see Richie is as the guy who single handedly screwed everything Bon Jovi ever stood for.

It'd make sense if he'd have made it obvious all the time how he just wasn't satisfied with the Bon Jovi machine. However, for the past decade he's been doing nothing but praise all Bon Jovi albums, saying they were the most fun since Slippery, containing lots of guitars, not being able to polish a turd because they wrote such great songs.

Now that he's out of the band and in "solo" modus, he's suddenly slagging off everything that's made him so wealthy, and is slagging off everything he stood for. If he does it with material he wrote and performed himself, who's to say he won't do the same in a few years with his material for Aftermath? He's lost all his credibility with his remarks here and there, and has turned himself in a joke, really.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Richie's like something out of a Spinal Tap movie. If he doesn't return to Bon Jovi it won't be long before we see him in some VH1 reality show. With that being said, I wouldn't be completely opposed to the idea of him serving as a guitarist in some kind of supergroup like Vh1 did once, who knows, Sebastian Back could be the singer again!!!

Didn't Richie say he went to Hawaii to play a charity gig with Alice Cooper & a few of Aerosmith recently, so my money is on he'll turn up at Calling Festival @ London on 28th / 29th June.

Aerosmith are headlining 28th & acts haven't be confirmed for 29th yet. I'm going to see Aerosmith so it would be class if Richie was there on either day
