Default Richie's double neck guitar MIA??

Sorry if this has already ben asked. Been gone a while. But, what's the deal with Richie's double necked guitars? Both nights at Giants during Wanted, he didn't use it. During Have A Nice Day he didn't use one either. This was the first time in 40 BJ shows I've ever seen Richie not use one during Wanted. Only thing I could think of is maybe it was a bit heavy for him with his injured shoulder.

Anybody else have an idea?

The double neck guitar during H.A.N.D, it's more than likely a weight issue due to his shoulder. As to Wanted, I believe he has a new deal with Taylor guitars is it? Or Martin? I really can't remember. Maybe it's so he can get the guitar off quicker without it hitting his shoulder to switch to the electric..

Hey

The reason for him not using his double necked in Wanted is simply because he has a new guitar and wanted to use it.......after all, his double necked will be pretty old by now!!

As for his electric double necked, the reason he played with one live a few times before is because one was a twelve string with a capo on the second fret, the other was a regularly tuned six string only used for the solo. On the HAND tour, Bobby Bandiera played the Have A Nice Day solo so there was no need for richie to use his double neck, the single one did the job.

Hope this helps, anyone else please feel free to correct me if you think i'm wrong (after all i'm not really a guitarist.......lol)

You've got the second part backwards. Bobby took over the solo so Richie could just use a single neck guitar on the Japan leg of the tour, not the other way around heh.

The single guitar for Wanted just makes more sense. The guy hardly would tuch the 6 string part of it anyway..
