Default Richies guitar tuning on LMS Live

Remember when we saw that video from Youtube of Lumpy talking about LMS having a special tuning live? I can't seem to find the thread we were discussing it in and we thought it was just capo on the 2nd fret, half a step down tuning? Im just realizing I hear a Low Eb note, kind of weird. Any assumptions to the tuning?

Dropped-D with a capo.

Ice, what is it that makes you think it's dropped D? Not disagreeing by any means but if thats the case why does he not play the 6th string open in the solo on the Em chord like the studio version, instead holding the previous note for 3 beats? You know which note i mean? On the record it's open bottom E then open top E and B (like bad medicine intro)........???

You have a point. But I definetely hear an Eb note, and it's not from Bobby's guitar I don't think. I don't know why I hear it then and not later when he could hit that note in the solo. Meh. It's probably my ears playing tricks on me.

I'm not sure if it is dropped-D, but it would make sense if there's an Eb somewhere (dropped-D a half tone down, capo on the 2nd). I haven't watched or listened to enough live versions to be sure.

I'm pretty sure it's not dropped -d.
I just thought al along that it was a half step down with a capo on the second fret?

So did I. Maybe it IS Bobbys guitar, I'm fairly sure he doesn't capo it. The part I mean is at 0:35 on that Live from the HAND tour cd. Richie's guitar is panned left and Bobby's is right. I just hear the root Eb note for some reason.
