Actually, a broken string can cause the neck to lose tension and make your guitar go out of tune, but that wasn't the case. again just a mental slip, do not dare to crucify the poor guy !

hahah thats pretty funny actual. Feel sorry for Richie though, he looks embarrassed by it. Jon looks confused when it first happens, it looks like he got pretty angry when he had realised what happened, judging by the way he threw his arms in the air... lol

It might be me singing My dulcet tones are frequently mistaken for the vocals of artists such as steve perry, geoff tate and occasionally JBJ

Actually we are so far away that the audio and video are out of sync because of the whole speed of light / speed of sound physics thing.
I will have to watch again to be sure what you mean though.

Dave

I like how Jon's the only one who gets upset or thrown off. The rest of the band just go with it + make it work with smiles on their faces. It should be expected that not everything will go smoothly - even if it's a song you've played over + over. I'm no guitarist but i'm a music major (clarinet) + it's entirely possible to flub stuff in concerts that you (i've) nailed time + time again in rehearsals.

PS: it's likely Dave covering those vocals.

i bet thats totally it....i would clearly there isnt a tape as if there was we wouldnt even be talking about this but actually i know a bunch of bands - aerosmith example - that use backing vocal tapes...chris robinson near freaked when they opened for them when he found that out

as dulcet as daves tones are - it isnt him unless he has arena-sound amps in his voicebox

i love jon but it annoys me how he throws tantrums like that over little mistakes. It isn't as though he hasn't made mistakes during shows himself. Or if he's in a pissed mood as that isn't fair on fans that have been waiting months or years to see them and jon just isn't on..
